Case Study Three: North London

2024

The Brief
Following a full refurbishment of the house, the brief was to strengthen the connection between the home and its garden, creating additional space for entertaining and an uninterrupted view through full-width glazed doors.

The Response
A generous porcelain patio extends directly from the interior, establishing a seamless transition between inside and out. A louvred aluminium gazebo introduces a versatile outdoor room, allowing the garden to be enjoyed throughout the year. Evergreen Taxus baccata hedging softens and greens the boundary fencing, while pleached Carpinus betulus provides elegant screening from neighbouring properties. Structured herbaceous borders complete the scheme, adding rhythm, texture, and seasonal interest.
